Gerard you are full of S@#t!! FINALLY we got a leader that puts AMERICA FIRST, and the others dont like it. THATS why they are trying to make as much trouble as possible for us. I have NEVER been so angry against anyone including the CONG as I am now against the French and Germans. Far as I am concerned they can GO TO HELL. I just wish it were in my power to TELL THEM TO THEIR GOD DAMN FACES. jdn

If we are the leader such a statement implies that others should be following.

Of course they are following, despite their fears. Sometimes leaders themselves must take the flag and charge onward, leaving the cowards to their wimpering and encouraging those who have some semblance of a spine to try yet again.

What you see currently in the UN is the fact that America is a nation of courageous and determined adults surrounded by trembling little kids. America taught the little kids how to talk when it crafted UN resolution 1441, though the kids did not initially wish to put any starch into their talk. Now America will teach the kids how to stand behind their talk. That is leadership.

In situations where kids are simply too weak to do a critical job, adults must themselves do the job. And in this way they teach the little kids how such jobs are conducted. That is leadership.

When we go into Iraq, many kids will be left wimpering on the sidelines of irrelevance. Other kids will take courage and follow, despite their current fears; and they will act like adults because America will show them how to act.

That is leadership.
