I am not directly involved in the space industry, and obviously, it is impossible to know everything involved with NASA's shortcomings, but it is becoming increasingly obvious they have a lot of things to repair, and I do not mean just mean witrh the "hardware" itself. Big egos and arrogant attitudes in the upper ranks can cause just as much trouble as mechanical failure.
