The moral arrogance of your crowd is very sad.

Frankly, who cares who supported who....

In the present we have an enemy regime in Iraq which has the capability and proven connections to terror to potentially hit us in a far worse manner than 9/11.

Waiting for an imminent attack in this sort of scenario is absolutely ludicrous.

We ALSO have a dynamic in the ME which breeds terrorism. This same regime funds much of the terrorism going on in the region now (particularly pal/israel).

Take out the regime. Remove much of the risk (not all) of a 9/11 style WMD attack as well as the local sponsor.

If the peace is handled correctly, the West will have an ally and the Arab peninsula will have it's first real democracy.

The dynamic will shift.

Perhaps the status quo is better?
