Crossy,

Listening to the ALU CC I think the company will file an Interruption claim in the near future. This might help the other insurance companies to get a move on. Given the fact the company was well on its way to earning over a dollar/share for the year if they can save money with debt refinancing in the future who knows what they can earn on +600M in sales. Its just going to take a little while to get going again.

Joe

<Any idea how long a typical police investigation into a warehouse fire usually can take ?>

Crossy, from what I've read, 80% of arson investigations are never solved or closed. The first ALU fire which occurred in 1999,although not an active case and it is well after the payment on the insurance claim,is still an open case for the NY Fire Dept.
