You do realize the US is more of an island than Europe, that the US provides the majority of the power in NATO's defense. If Belgium, France and Germany pull out of NATO, NATO would still have most of its power left; however, if the US left, close to half of NATO's power would be gone.

Do you really think we are that much smarter than the Europeans?

Why don't you read my post again. I didn't say europe was too stupid. I said Europe didn't want to see any evidence, so they chose to ignore it; just as they chose to ignore Churchhill's warnings 70 yrs earlier.
