Crossy, perhaps little known but I thought worth mentioning is that the majority owners of Allou Health are the Jacobs family, members of the ultra-orthodox Satmar Hasidic sect. I mention this because the family interest could very well be a target of religious prosecution based crime and the arson investigation would therefore not be accussatory against any Allou insider.

Also worth mentioning, although I don't have the full story is that there is a law suit brought by Estee Lauder against Fragrance Counter for trademark infringement. Lauder's claim is that its trademark names were being used in internet search engines as pointerS to the Fragrance Counter web site which is owned by Allou.

I can't find anything on the status of this case. You might have noticed in an earlier post on this thread, a link was posted to a new Allou owned cosmetic web site that is 'scheduled for operation in 2003." In case you missed it, there's a $1000 value in free beauty aids offer on this site. <ggg>
