No idea how the IBD system works, sorry. The market must not believe the earnings are sustainable, I would guess.

According to O’Neils book The EPS rating is calculated by combining the last 2 quarters with the last 5 years. In 98, 99 and 2000 earnings decreased.
That might explain the low EPS rating.

It’s easy to find a reason why a stock is where its at. That’s what the news media does so well. I want someone to tell me with some accuracy where it going to be a week from now. <ggg>
