It is not the fear of Saddam using WMD, it is the fear of him having them and using them as leverage. It is his explicit goal to establish Iraqi hegemony over Middle East oil. WMD would allow him to do that with minimal resistance. How would it make you feel knowing that Saddam controlled 50% of the worlds oil production. I don't like the WMD argument but let's make the right argument. It's not about WMD destruction but about oil ? You're making me crazy paul.
