<<The newsmedia in the USA>> I agree that the US media is not issue neutral, but what I have not seen, and but would love to, is a mechanism that describes and predicts their behavior by way of a chain of decisions done for self-interest alone, without need for a centralized controller. I believe such a mechanism exists, but is not widely discussed. Conspiracies are unstable and I believe that whatever makes the US News tick is controlled by negative feedback, as the progression towards the current state of affairs has been gradual and unwavering.
