I do not see any reason why to back down from toppling Saddam and the Saudi Clan thereafter.

It makes me wonder how little understanding there is, in particular in the Western World, about the ME and arabs.

It is crystal clear that the arabs headed by the Saudi Clan want to bring the Western Civilization to it's knees, otherwise why not pump more crude oil to compensate for Venezuela strike and speculative fever to stabilize the world economy ?

Since the inception of Islam the goal of the arabs and those loyal to the "prophet" teaching (the fundamentalist and wahhabis) are out to get the Western Civilization to its knees and even subjugate it.

Those were the arab goals for ages - after 640 AD, when conquering Northern Africa & Spain and were unable to cross into France and hundrets of years later by the Turks who were being stopped at the gates of Vienna, subjugating a big chunk of Europe for hundredths of years from the Atlantic ocean to the Indian Ocean

History repeats itself even if not exactly.

If there was a genuine interest of cooperation from the arabs in the fight of terror and economic world prosperity we would have now oil prices around $22 to $24 per barrel.

The truth is that the arabs are out to get us (as is written in the Koran and Hadit ) and de facto imposed an oil embargo on the industrial nations.

Only Russia is there as a swing producer and they have an infrastructure problem to bring all the oil they can to the Western Markets
