(Wild speculation...Saddam....Russia) Yeah, that is wild...Every expert I've heard says no way Saddam accepts exile anywhere (he's not dumb- he's knows they'll get him on War Crimes, and US will never agree to dropping that)...

If that WAG turns out to be right, though (or anywhere close) major feather in your cap..

I bet Rumsfeld has toilet paper w/Saddam's face on it...this is personal (in addition to everything else)

lisalisalisa:<<<Wild speculation, but what if Russia made a last hour deal with sadam where sadam and his family were granted immunity in Russia and Russian troops became the so called peacekeepers in Iraq with all the economic and Oil benefits that went along with that? It could be seen as a compromise within the UN as well perhaps…..>>>

Did they read this board?

Rumor- 08:54 ET S&P futures vs fair value: +6.4. Nasdaq futures vs fair value: +13.0. Futures indications move to their best levels of the morning following reports that Iraq has asked Iran to allow Saddam Hussein to flee via Iran to political exile in Russia... As such, the indices remain poised for a solidly higher open.
