The only chance we have left for an economic recovery and world peace is to
defeat George Bush and those Republicans and Democrats who support war.

I think it could be done. The US will have to occupy Iraqi. The Iraqis and others won't like it
because they don't trust Bush and they don't like him him either.

Ahmed Rashid who wrote the popular books on Afghanistan was on local tv a weeks
ago. He compared an American occupation in Iraq to the occupations in Lebanon.
I believe there were many uprisings in Lebanon. Most likely there will be uprisings in Iraq
and probably terrorist attacks against
Britain and the US. According to the polls, Americans believe if we attack
Iraq first, it is likely that there will be attacks against us. I suppose Americans don't believe
it could happen to them personally so maybe that is why they say many people support a war
against Iraq. I don't know if I trust the polls that support a war though.
