Thanks for the info. That's obviously ridiculous. Do you know how much has been pledged or actually sent? The media is off the subject.

Not very empty. $742M+ spent on Afghanistan humanitarian assistance between 2001 - 2003 (2002: ~$531M, 2003: ~$26M thusfar). FY 2004 budget earmarks $657 million for Afghanistan.
