Howard does not have the backing of his population on this issue of war with Iraq.

I visited Australia while in the military about 20 years ago. The Aussie's treated us extremely well ready to show appreciation at every opportunity for sacrifices we made together in WWII.

The Aussie's know their future is dependent on the reliable supply of oil from the ME, more so than Germany or France's.

It is very discouraging to see that so many people fail to see that we are at war with terrorism and that Saddam has defined himself as one of the enemies. When some of these weapons that the inspectors know he has show up in an attack and kill thousands of Americans, will these protestors be shouting that we cannot attack Iraq because we cannot be 100% certain that Saddam is behind the attack?
