Jacob, Very funny. You set an impossible standard and then criticize for not meeting the standard. The last I heard, life was a little better in Afghanistan and moving in a better direction. It will take a very long time for the goals you espouse. Realistic goals are important. It will be a long time before Iraq is a Jeffersonian democracy but I think a little progress will be very appreciated. OTOH, I am concerned that the Bushies won't have the stomach to stick it out and get the job done in Iraq. I have yet to hear anything that makes me think they will (or won't) and it is concerning.
