Actually, I think you've outlined some things we're going to be doing.

But we're going to cover our flank first.

Incidentally, how much support do you think the rest of the world is going to give us for dealing pre-emptively with Saudi Arabia?

Jacob - Saudia Arabia is just as much a threat to our safety as Iraq, more so in many ways. But we enhance existing leverage and gain new leverage over SA when we are liberating Iraq.

Energy independence from ME oil is impossible in our lifetimes. Until we have some method of reducing Saudi's oil leverage over the world they wont be motivated to change significantly.

Saddam has failed to comply with the terms of the treaty that suspended the war. The time for games with Saddam is coming to an end. With new leverage our relationship with Saudia Arabia will be changed for the better.
