Bearcat / Probe Exploration

Yes - I took a 90%+ loss on investment into the company. What hurt the most was my second 1000 share purchase. I sold it less than a month later. I blew almost $6000 total investing into Probe.

I've also taken serious hits on the real small cap type investments. Somewhere in the nature of 60-70% losses. In those cases, there wasn't much in terms of dollars lost.

The experience was a learning experience - some positive resulting from a bad situation.

Every penny has been accounted for in the buying and selling of companies from inception of my portfolios. I am guessing the portfolios have had, at one time or another, well over 100 companies invested into. The portfolios go quite a little back in time - don't be over impressed.

At one time, I had over 40 companies invested into and followed - thus the reason for the Tiers. They separated the type of investment category.

Want a blast from the past? You can find my older Portfolio Reports at the inactive Kerm's Korner SI location. Some of the referenced links were posted in my last message to you. Once there, you can surf thru the postings. A lot of companies of disappeared and the landscape has changed dramatically.

On another note - how are the Bearcats doing.

I think my orangemen guys are the best youngest team in the nation. Their starting lineup are all freshmen and a senior. That senior is splitting time with a sophomore. We're looking for a national championship sometime in the next three years - if a couple of these kids don't go the Pro route early on. We have emerged into the top 20 and things are looking good to advance further.
