one more time, my head is going to explode. I'm curious exactly how the war protester would characterize the last 10+ years of sanctions and resolutions? Further, I'd like them to explain how, and why, more of the same actions would prove to be any more effective than the last 10 years.

Iraq has been in non-compliance of UN resolutions, in one fashion or another, for largely the last decade. One could make a convincing case that we have in fact given peace a chance.
