THe congress and the White House are controlled by the same party.

It is a Republican "Report with numbers". Nobody blocked the development and if it is late don't blame the Dems.

The Republicans now enjoy a majority and Accountability.

Got any idea how many court nominees Jesse Helms bottled up? My impression was that there were more than a few.

People who like W seem to think he should be treated like a national unity leader or something. I wouldn't even object to that if he were acting like one. Instead, my impression is that Rove and the handlers made big partisan hay out of the "war president" line in the '02 elections, and having succeeded there decided to put the pedal to the metal on all conservative fronts. That's their right, but whinage about lack of Democratic cooperation in light of that doesn't exactly impress me.
