This statement is probably true, at least in part – I think that those are not the only ones... -g.

The popular argument about a campaign against Iraq creating an undesirable precedent, IMO, is weak. A situation on this planet when an individual or a group or a rogue government has the potential to destroy great numbers of people is itself unprecedented. I am aware that WMD’s have been around for a long time, but the degree to which they threaten to proliferate is a new phenomenon – particularly into the hands of rogues.
