Calling the police is like calling the U.N.

I pity you if your town has police who have as little competence to deal with crime as the UN does. Perhaps you can point to me one single incident where the UN actually acted to prevent a war? Or to punish an international criminal after he or she had committed crimes? I can't bring one to mind.
