Oh, pish. What indications have you that the Bush administration is in this for the long haul? I keep seeing numbers of 3-6 months thrown around when it comes to how long the administration thinks it'll take to rebuild Iraq.

The simple fact that the whole world is watching to see if the US has the staying power; Europeans are trying to prove the US needs them; and the arabs, especially Al qaeda wanting us to cut and run; that GW would absolutely make the commitments necessary to rebuild Iraq. More so now, possibly, than at nay time in our past.
