What indications have you that the Bush administration is in this for the long haul? I keep seeing numbers of 3-6 months thrown around when it comes to how long the administration thinks it'll take to rebuild Iraq. -Z

David Re..Well, you're correct about this. With the political infighting within the United States it can definitely be a problem having a consistent foreign policy. The simple fact that the whole world is watching to see if the US has the staying power; Europeans are trying to prove the US needs them; and the arabs, especially Al qaeda wanting us to cut and run; that GW would absolutely make the commitments necessary to rebuild Iraq. More so now, possibly, than at nay time in our past.
