Do you think there is symmetry between his treatment of Islamic naturalized citizens and those who aren't of that ancestry? This is similar to the problems faced by Japanese and Germans in America and England during WWII.

There is a principle of equal treatment under the law that we must retain. The President has Constitutional duties and other duties, one would think, that are transcendent of his parochial interests here within our borders. I would expect a high degree of symmetry between these positions for a person of high moral character. People is people, and if it is wrong to kill them in utero, then it is wrong to kill them in utero in Afghanistan, even if "by accident". I think collateral damage is hard to call "by accident" when you are using weaponry in its intended use.

I'm a globalist, which is the opposite of your professed isolationism. I don't think in a modern world you can really be isolated and to not tend ones garden in a proactive way makes the solution to the problem of weeds much more difficult. The advent of the airplane and missile technology ended any possibility of isolation, IMO.
