Hi Michael and All...While reading MC's post, I wonder about Iran....what is happening on this front, while all the other areas surrounding Iraq are being scanned and discussed....How close are Iraq and Iran right now?

Just read completely all of Medved's points...Since they were written before the end of December, it is interesting how much more to the point they are right now!!!! Have copied the piece, and for those who aren't as "up" on things as this FADG is, I'll just send the appropriate "talking point"...just to see the response and if they even read it or not.

Particularly interesting are his comments on the "it's all about oil" charge we all hear so often, even here....

Actually, as my hubby and I were talking the other night, we agree we don't have an oil crisis....we have an "oil efficiency" crisis.

>>>>>>>The United States imports almost none of its petroleum from Iraq, but our European "allies" (the French, in particular) get a great deal of their energy from that country – and therefore ardently oppose the idea of waging war. On this issue, it's the appeasers – not the hard-liners – who are "all about oil." <<<<<<<<
