I know, but we've already mentioned Buffalo Bob.

Our local TV station had a home grown cowboy, which is hard to do in Michigan, but every night, he would don his finest cowboy hat and boots, and saunter onto the set.

There was always a throng of local children on the show, who never questioned the fact, that he'd never ridden a horse, or branded a bull.

He sang songs that sounded sort of camp fireish, with a midwestern nasal twang. That was good enough for these children

Everything was going fine for the local small town celebrity until he was arrested for driving around town in nothing but his cowboy boot and his hat.

The cops might not have questioned his bare chest had he worn the cowboy hat on his head. Instead, he chose to use it to cover and uncover another part of his anatomy.

His career quickly died and was last heard from singing cowboy songs for the boys in lock up...

Probably the best thing that ever happened to him. He might have disappeared leaving everyone wondering what ever happened to..."you know who"

Instead, his legend as the singing cowboy from Michigan will go down in the annals of early tv broadcasting.
