comparing 9-11 to pol pot is not only ridiculous it is incredibaly insulting to tens of millions of people. if pol pot can be compared to anything that has occured on american soil, it would be to the genocide performed on native americans.

then again, the daily mirror is a straight-up tabloid, so it's not like a passing familiarity with history is a requisite for its writers.
