Historical average P/S ratio for public companies is around 1.

Here's a chart of S&P P/S to show that average. This chart is from 1977 to present, most of which has been bull market and asset bubble so the average may in fact be less than 1.

AMAT and broad market have a long way to fall before reaching historical valuation norms. Maybe it's different this time tho?
