Jay - Why isn't China producing a sports car for export yet ?

Could easily make something like the Datsun / Nissan 240 Z, which was very popular, got bigger and slower with each redesign, and then was eventurally discontinued.

Another target would be the Afla Romeo Spyder, which had a LONG production run.

Need to add air bags, ABS, and tweak engines to meet emissons regulations, most of which is much easier today with parts and technology that can be bought worldwide.

Profit margins on sports cars tend to be high for both the manufacturer and distributors.

There's a huge amount of spare automotive production capacity in the world, but reasonably priced sports cars are relatively few.

First target market could be Austrailia, then go after West Coast U.S. and Europe.
