And the fact that we had half of Germany and they had the other half meant nothing?

However, no plan survives the onset of war. Remember, lots of the squawking about endgames comes from people who are trying to prevent us from doing anything in the first place.

How do we know that war is the answer when we don't even know how to frame the question yet?

Just doing "anything" leads to a classic READY, FIRE, AIM scenario.

I am not now and never have been against 'ever' using force in Iraq. But the disarray I see in the present planning leads me to think we may be blundering our way toward disaster.
