There are a few hollywood people who I respect even though I don't agree with them and I don't mind if they sound off. Martin Sheen for example. For some reason, even though Martin Sheen has the same views as the others I don't mind. But when the Baldwins or Babs or a whole host of other celebrities open their mouth on matters of state or anything related to business I cringe.

I watched Mel Gibson in "The Patriot" tonight. Now that is one smart movie star.

I think there was a thread created for that? I don't think it was limited to Hollywood idiots though.
