There appears to be no other motivation. We don't seem to need concurrence of our allies or the U.N.. We don't seem to care . All I hear is "disarm because of 1441". I don't hear "withdrawl because of 242". I don't hear "Israel give up the nukes!" because of the NPT. I don't hear "readmit the inspectors" being shouted at North Korea. Why does the Administration make no policy statements disabusing Joe Sixpack of his delusions? Because Joe THINKS that Iraq and bin Laden have a connection and that Iraq had a hand in 911. And THAT serves the interests of the Administration.
