won't poison the world. He's not planning on poisoning the world. Just those he decides to go to war with. And quite possibly us through intermediaries. Oh. But he can't, remember? He doesn't have chemical weapons. Deterrence? Deterrence assumes a sane opponent. That's why it worked with the Soviets. After Stalin, their general secretaries and premiers were sane. The evidence shows he's only used such weapons defensively and in war. When did he use them "defensively"? You claimed he didn't use them in the Gulf War (although he may have), and his other conflicts he started himself.
