What credibility can we give any of that stuff? Zero or less than zero?

I think Barrick's last chance to maximize shareholder value is to invest in Wildcat Resources Ltd. We can probably engineer a turnaround by leveraging our management assets to make Barrick get the most out of the rising market. Obviously a gold company should do better, not worse as the price of its main sale item increases.

A little bit of gold savvy wouldn't hurt Barrick either. You can only run a gold mining company for so long on investor relations. Of course the VSE seems to make Houdini's trick pale by comparison in this department. In a recent survey it was found that the average amount of geological, geophysical, and mining engineering knowledge possessed by the average VSE exploration company was actually in the negative numbers when using the Wexler-Bellevue standard for measurable skill levels in technical disciplines.
