SC,

Yes I am in the liberation camp. You could also say that I support interventionism against tyrants in a post cold war world.

I supported:

o Bosnia
o Kosovo
o Somolia
o Rwanda
o Sudan
o Afghanistan

So if you look at these you will understand my concern that the only interventions listed that took place and were supported by liberals involved white people. The French actually sided with the butchers in Rwanda (although they withdrew with the bad publicity).

Also I think we need to do something with North Korea, but we will need to work out a plan with the Chinese. Potentially letting them lead it (since its their client state). Failing that I would make them painfully aware that any North Korean actions will involve China.

If the Chinese fail to act on North Korea I would arm or extend an active nuclear umbrella over the Taiwanese, Japanese and potentially Vietnamese.

If I was a leader in one of those countries - I would be accelerating my own nuclear and missile programs on a Manhatten type scale.

Next up - Saudi Arabia, Syria and Iran (but I might let things develop there since they are moving towards democracy.
