It is clear to me that anyone who shrinks from a conversation because a critical comment is made on the logic and reason behind the argument is ill prepared to present anything logical or precise. In any contest, the best players have been challenged and practiced under the most difficult pressure. If someone really believes what they are posting, then being called stupid for posting it can only have the following meaning. They are wrong. They are right. They are somewhere between right and wrong. The person posting the reply is wrong or right or somewhere in between. Is it stupidity of idea or a misreading of the meaning in the words used to present the idea. If a poster here does in non stupid insult writing convey logic, reason and rational that is clear, do you wonder then why that person suggests something is stupid. I make judgement based upon what I interpret as the true meaning being presented. I may be commenting on the lack of precision in the presentation the makes what could be rational be dumb. I may call an argument stupid as I've researched and analyzed the issue in detail and the rational behind what is stated shows rec league thinking. NOTE: He who must be obeyed has conveyed to me an opinion the the use of the word stupid is not appreciated. So I have adopted alternative, less efficient phrase-ology as I as all am a guest. In any case, you can reply or not reply. It will not change who you are or who I am.
