I have not seen the Kagan analysis.

But on the issue of disagreement with the course of action of the President.

It's basically about the generic honey and vinegar ideas.

A counter argument is that in that EU people do not see or really care about this threat. Would sadie have been convinced to cooperate if he had not seen that the sheriff was staring at him with blood in his eyes and being held back. Would the UN have acted as it did with another softer approach.

It don't know, it all speculation and is only useful in considerations for a next time.

But the US population is informed and does support the President. Are there equivalent means to get fair and balanced information to those in the EU. If not I don't see how one can suggest anything would really be any different.

I often go to vote.com. I see overwhelming support for the President in votes there. Who is voting there. They have internet access and the inclination to take the time and cast an opinion. Who has internet access and who does not.
What does having internet access mean in terms of what information is more available.

Does the EU have anything like the independent Fox News Channel or talk radio.

All this is background considerations and it is very complex.

I believe the President has character and has surrounded himself with smart people who do their best to think it thru.

I also believe that John Q. Pubic is only thinking about what's for diner tonight and attempting to predict how he will react is an interesting game.
