I have advocated the move out of NATO for several years, on issues unrelated to 9-11 or IRAQ. Its my opinion trade actions by Europe to block US goods are unaceptable. The best example of this is THE GSM standard(or non-tarif barrier as I would say) and Airbus subsidation is another. The Europeans are opporunist's and are only out for themselves, have no ideals of world order only how to line their pockets. The nuke plants in Axis of evil countries were all helped along by France and Germany. Ask yourself if that is the kinda guy you want to stick your neck out for?
