The main reason that OBL declared a jihad against the United States, is because of the continued U.S. military presence in Saudi Arabia. Why is the U.S. military still in Saudi Arabia? To contain Saddam's Iraq. So, the policy to "contain" Iraq, is the reason that: the Khobar Towers was attacked in 1996 - killing 19 and wounding 500, why the U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania were attacked in 1998 - killing at least 81 and injuring 1700, why the USS Cole was attacked in 2000 - killing 17 and wounding 37, and why the Trade Center and Pentagon was attacked - killing thousands. So while you may support the "war" against "Al Queda", you continue to support the primary reason that the majority of the hijackers on 9-11 were Saudi. re:"Most who are against invading Iraq right now are frustrated that al Queda is still operative and a war against them is heartily supported."
