On NPR today on "Talk of the Nation" they will talking about
that whole oil issue. Not sure the report will be balanced, but might be interesting.

I still don't see any benefit oil-wise for the US,
other than to use the proceeds to rebuild Iraq.

I think the oil argument hurts the cause of the anti-war
groups. The best argument they could use is that they feel Saddam is contained. I don't think so, but I do think
the US policy goes beyond containment, they want a regime
change. And yes I know we supported Saddam before.

I feel without a doubt that US policies that support
one evil to balance another evil has been a big mistake over the years. We should have never given Saddam anything. I hope that type of policy stops.
