Israel has numerous UN resolutions upon it. What would you recommend that Bush do about that?

I don't know how you can square this with our foreign policy objectives. We've ALWAYS supported dictators. We're working with dictators in China, after all. Most countries have human rights abuses (you know that we, the US, are accused of human rights abuses- right?)

We can't remove everyone. And we look like idiots or self interested hypocrites if we are indiscriminate.

I think what most people want, or at least what I want, is a consistent foreign policy, and a consistent policy in the UN. It makes the world unstable when no one knows what the rules are. When things are governed by when our whimsical Fearless Leader runs out of "patience"- the world is not exactly going to be pacific.

I think we probably ought to work on beefing up the crimes against humanity department of the UN. Because that would be a great way to get really nasty leaders out of power. But we would need to apply it across the board. None of this pet dictator stuff.
