Dave, Looks like the siberian excalator came right over the pole and hit eastern Canada/USA hard. Here in Toronto we have had 6 weeks of bitter cold. Below zero fahrenheit almost every night and some nights -20.
Pipes freezong, water main breaks etc.
Looks like the El Nino went right up the west coast and showed the siberian escalator eastward.
