Could it have been from money from French oil companies, Russian, etc?.....Those companies have a BIG interest in not having the US involved in Iraq.... They would certainly have the money to promote large demonstrations. I didn't see too many homemade signs. Most were the same, and on a mass scale. They are expensive to make. Maybe some enterprising news service will start looking around and see if the signs were the same in all areas of the world where the demonstrations were held.
