I make judgments all the time. I'm extremely judgmental. But I try not to be extremely forceful in the application of my judgments to other people. I let my judgments govern my behavior toward you, but I would be very careful in what I would support in terms of legal codifications of laws that supported my judgments in terms of how you were required to act. So, for example, while I think spanking is terribly wrong, and teaches children all the wrong things, I would be very hesitant in supporting laws that prohibited spanking- because I know there are people who believe it is useful, just as strongly as I believe it is wrong.

If that isn't clear, I'll try to think of another example.
