If your point was simply stating that firearm deaths happen at a higher rate in the US than the UK that is acknowledged and historical, even before the hand gun ban it was true and the ratios also. If your point was that a hand gun ban reduced murder or crime you lack proof. If a handgun ban in Jamaica in 1974 had worked their murder rate would have gone down.
