Why wouldn't the Kurds deserve a state of their own, just like the Palestinians ? Haven't they suffered enough ?

Nadine, Like I've been telling Carl, the Turks want some of the Iraqi oil and they want to expand the old Ottoman borders a bit. And of course, just so they can keep the cultural identity thing going, have a few more Kurds to kick around.

``We are not going to the Turkish parliament tomorrow,'' Gul said at a news conference. ``We have some concerns on economic issues, political issues and military issues. First of all the Turkish government should be satisfied on those.''
