Kenneth, that's pretty big news right there.

I'd love to see Turkey say to Bush: "Keep your 20 billion; the government of Turkey and the people of Turkey, prefer peace!"

And can anyone imagine if they did, that they'd then build stronger ties to mainstream Europe, i.e., NATO. Maybe that was the trade-off for NATO's recent vote to back Turkey's defenses.

Frankly, I think Bush needs a new bench coach! And, ironically, if this sorta stuff keeps up it'll be the rightwing that'll be agreeing with me.
