the new name I suggested was... SCOTT STOCKLESS POLITICAL PORCH I want no vestige of my name associated with this thread it contains 10-20% discussion of anything relevant to gold, currencies, economy, or anything outside politics I have asked ScottS to refrain from 20 political articles per day back in summer, again in autumn, again in autumn I gave up in winter, migrating to the Golden Pals thread I dont remember much of any discussion of stocks by Scott be sure to know, I regard Scott as a friend I enjoy some of Scott's articles which pertain to gold, currencies, and economy but they are not numerous I gave up months ago defending the spammy nature of this thread to SI buddies who complained to me in large numbers via PrivMemo no more I regard politics to be a supreme waste of human energy politics is a revolving door of organizational masturbation "politics, sports, weather" -- if you have nothing to contribute good luck to all I will stop by when the fancy overtakes me or when things interest me the moderated thread will also enjoy a name change it will closely resemble the former name of this thread before it morphed into a political waste of time / jim
