Lots of folks justified what Reagan did with Iran-Contra, the arms for hostages thing, because Reagan had a tough situation to deal with. For intellectual purposes, therefore, I ask: When did Saddam Hussein ever have it easy? Do you think America wanted him to invade Iran? If not, why did America veto the UN resolution that condemned Iraq's invasion of Iran?

Please clarify. Is it 'cause I'm confused? Or is someone else confused?
