So, my remarks are only stupid if you want to bury your head in your ass and ignore that this country has been a party to Saddam's deeds when it was convenient.

Again, these are just senseless remarks. Relationships of governments change over time. Today, we provide all kinds of weapons technology to Israel and Japan. Tomorrow, either could begin behaving in a way that we would no longer sanction. Just common sense, if you have it, tells you this.

Now you (and Blair) would have us believe that it has become a humanitarian mission.

There has never been any doubt that there was a humanitarian element; however, there is also a national security interest. It isn't so complicated you can't understand it.

That's a crock. Work through the UN to disarm the man, if it takes longer. And if you want to be a humanitarian, work towards lifting those sanctions.

No way in hell should we consider lifting sanctions so he can build MORE weapons.

You really can forget it. Saddam has made his choice, and his choice is to be dead. It will be a happy day in my household. Perhaps you'll grieve.
