Ted Re..Belgium offered a compromise that was not accepted. The problem still exists as of this post. Its not a little problem that will go away easily like you hope.

I disagree. The EU and NATO are making a big effort to try to unify behind a plan. Too many of its members, in new Europe favor the US side, for there to be unity, without France and Germany going a long way to our side. They need to set deadlines, and mean it.
